Obtain and Empower with Skill Books in WoW Classic Season of Discovery

Skill Books are a new mechanic introduced in World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery phase two. They work slightly differently from Runes, but both empower the original nine classes.

How to Get Skill Books

To obtain Skill Books in World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery, players need to complete specific tasks and defeat bosses in phase two instances. These Skill Books can provide players with new passives, bonuses, or even entire abilities.

Farming Skill Books

The best way to acquire Skill Books is by farming dungeons in the Scarlet Monastery. These books are dropped by bosses in the five-person instances. While some Skill Books are known to drop from specific bosses, any boss has the potential to drop a Skill Book.

Skill Books in Season of Discovery

Currently, there are 13 known Skill Books spread across the original nine classes in World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery. As phase two progresses, more Skill Books are expected to be introduced.
